Festival of Books

What I learned from the Festival and listening/talking to authors yesterday...

1) Rejections will come.
2) Eventually someone will read what you write.
3) If you are SERIOUS about writing you must Submit your stories/novel even if you get rejected.
4) Rejections give you a thicker skin.

that seemed to be the information passed around the whole day. Also, the guys at Archaia are AWESOME! thanks guys, the graphic novels will definitely help in the classroom.

-And if you haven't read Mouseguard... then you are lame so go out and read it, buy it, check it out from your library. It really is one of the coolest comics out there.

New Novel

So Here is a Word Counter for the new novel I'm working on. So far so good. Working on hashing out some of the ideas and the characters are already on board a ship called The Break of Dawn.

It'll be a fun romp with a lot of characters I've had in my brain goop for years. They've finally made it to the surface and are no longer fighting for places in the starlight.
